I started my apprenticeship during Corona and the agency was mostly empty. Getting to know the team and the customer during this time took a little longer. Nevertheless, I got tasks quickly and was able to improve my skills, get to know the agency and the client. At the beginning I got to know the whole process of a new campaign. From the general brainstorming to a suitable social media concept to the planning of the TV spot.
Most of the time in the Oetker team I did print ads. Here I mainly worked with Photoshop and learned a lot about the use of colors and fonts for print products. I improved my skills in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator and worked with different Oetker projects.
Another big part of my work in the Oetker team was devising and creating storyboards for social media and website ads. I really enjoyed working in the animation area. Above all, thinking up animations and banners in a wide variety of formats helped me to get into the digital sector. I briefed animators and gave a lot of feedback on animations. During this time my interest in the digital realm and websites increased.
THEN I SWITCHED
TO THE
DIGITAL TEAM
When I started in our digital team, I discovered my passion for working on websites. It was a lot of fun to learn digital programs and find out more about creating websites. I learned the digital programs Adobe XD, Sketch and Fingma. Creating websites combines every aspect I love about designing. During my work in the digital Team I also learned the basics of coding.
